The snow season is never ending this year up in Scotland where it has still been snowing.

The local crew have been making the most of the snow, however, and the final LASS - Let's All Snow Shred -  day on Cairngorm in Scotland, organised by Snowsport Scotland ripper Lauren MacCallum, proved to be a huge hit with the ladies.

Roxy Boards were available to test for everyone and there were loads of new tricks thrown down by both the skiers and snowboarders!

This time last year, Roxy rider Kjersti Buaas left to live a unique adventure in Iceland. She joined the team One Life with the others riders Chanelle Sladics, Marie France-Roy and Sarka Pancochova and the musician Cindy Santini for an unforgettable trip.

Between their splitboard expedition accross the fjords, surf in the arctic ocean, kayak, yoga below huge waterfalls, and surrounded by natural hot springs, they live and travelled in a sailboat to the nothwest tip of the island, a country with amazing landscape.

The 22 min show was premiered on TV and is now available online for all and for free. The first of its series :

To share and spread this unique experience, Johnny Roderick made a documentary of this trip : Explore the Iceland with One Life. The goal of this documentary is not only about sharing their passion for snowboarding, it's also about the beauty of Iceland and their commitment about to protection the environment through sustainable living practices.

The winter has been a long and cold one and although there has been a lot of brilliant snow along the way there has also been a lot of bad weather too. However, it has been a very fun last few weeks for the Roxy Snow Team with some great events and a very successful shoot in St Foy de Tarentaise, France.

The Snow Team have also been collecting national championship titles with Emma Bernard winning the French Half-Pipe title, Chloe Silliers winning the French Slopestyle Title, Katie Ormerod winning the British halfpipe title and Bibi Delfina winning the Italian Slopestyle title. Way to go girls!!!

As well as the national championships the FIS World Cup season drew to a close. Although plagued by terrible weather all season Roxy Rider Kjersti Buuas managed to stay on top of the World Cup standings for ladies slopestyle.

After the events were done the Roxy Snow Tram headed to St Foy in tarentaise to do some shooting and filming. We had an awesome time there and rode everything from powder lines to powder kickers and also had a few days in the DC Park in Meribel. A huge thanks to St Foy Station, Premiere Neige Chalets and also DC and Meribel for helping make our shoot a great one.

The Roxy Snow Team now have a few more weeks of training and fun riding time before taking a much needed rest from the snow. In this time they will all be aiming to learn new tricks and take thing to the next level - like Katie O who just stomped her first ever double backflip!!

Margot Roziès, Freeride World Tour runner up!

Roxy’s French snowboarder Margot Roziès is Freeride vice-world champion for the second year in a row. The 27 year old rider was definitely one of the most consistent riders on tour this year with a victory in Kirkwood, 2 second places in Revelstoke and Chamonix, a third place finish in Verbier.

Not enough though to conquer a first world champion title (300 points difference) which goes to Elodie Mouthon. Knowing that she’s been competing in Freeride World Tour for the past 2 years only – she started competition in Freestyle with a key role in French Snowboard team before focusing on back country and then Freeride - Margot’s performance is definitely amazing.

On the men’s side, Quiksilver skier Julien Lopez, ranked n°4 in Verbier, takes the third place in the overall Freeride World Tour ranking.

Kjersti Buaas, bronze medalist in X Games Tignes Slopestyle!

On the French side of the Alps, Norvegian snowboarder Kjersti Buaas also participated to the Roxy snow team success of the day by throwing down the run of her life at the X Games Tignes to win the bronze medal in what many people considered the highest standard ever seen in ladies slopestyle contest history.

Kjersti, who landed a frontside 720 to backside 540 to switch backside 540 combo on the kickers finished just behind fellow Norvegian Silje Norendal who took the gold medal and Jamie Anderson from the USA who took silver.
