Lena Stoffel

Lena is best known on the ski scene for her brilliant, all-round ability. Equally at home on rails, on big jumps or in the back country, Lena is a truly outstanding skier. She got her ski legs early on as a member of the German Alpine ski team but soon her love of freestyle led her down a different path, and since 2004 she has been following her passion for freestyle skiing.

Lena has a good ski pedigree, with both her parents being ski-instructors, and has grown up with the mountains in her blood. These days she spends her time skiing the backcountry of foreign destinations and documenting it all along the way. Her latest passion project being her ‘Way’ film franchise. ‘Way North’ and ‘Way East’ - documents her travels and explorations wherever the winter takes her. When she is not on her skis, Lena keeps in shape by surfing, making her a true ROXY ambassador for both surf and snow.

Q&A with Lena: 

What tricks are on your 'to learn' list? First of all I want to do all my tricks again really safe and stylish. After that, the flat 5 and switch 9 would be on my to learn list.

What is the best thing about skiing? Being in the beautiful mountains with friends. Being in the Nature. Skiing powder. The Airtime is pretty cool!

What's your favourite trick
? Nice steazy 3s and 5s. Kinda slow motion Airtime...
